I’ve been meaning to make banana bread ever since I started all this about a year ago. Many blackened bananas in the freezer later I found this recipe from TasteOfHome to make.
This banana bread in super delicious. My favourite part is that because it was cooked in the cast iron it gave it a nice crispy crust on the exterior. Of course I eyeballed the chocolate chips so my guess is there’s a little more than the recipe called for. I would not complain though as it was perfect.
I did have to increase the cook time on mine. I believe my pan may not have been as wide meaning the center was on the thicker side. There was no downside to this though, just a little patience.
I would highly recommend this one.
