This pesto jalapeno monterey jack grilled cheese has to be one of my top grilled cheeses I’ve ever made. The pesto is a sample I have been trying out from nuGrow. They’re a Manitoba company growing fresh produce and their pesto is amazing.
Also to make a good grilled cheese you need some fresh homemade bread. I’ve been trying to make a good pullman loaf but as you can see it’s been a bit of a struggle. This was my second try. The first attempt didn’t fill out the pan so it didn’t get its square shape. This second attempt I over proofed the loaf causing it to collapse, so again it didn’t get its square shape… I’ll by trying for a third time to get the right loaf sometime soon, so fingers crossed!
