This is a delicious New York style cheesecake, topped with a strawberry compote. The recipe was from Once Upon A Chef<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and I highly recommend it!<\/p>

The upfront flavour in mine was the lemon, I may have eyeballed the zest and lemon juice. That little extra lemon was really nice though. The final result of the cheesecake was super super creamy and went perfectly with the compote.<\/p>

The compote was a very simple recipe of orange juice and strawberries. Just simmered for a little while until the strawberries break down just a little bit. Then pulled off the heat and put into a jar, sealed, cooled then stored in the fridge.<\/p>
